The Constitution

The government of Mount Sinai High School has two components: class officers and the Student Council. You can think of our student government like this: the class officers are the "state" government, as they are responsible solely to their respective classes. The Student Council, on the other hand, is the "national" government, as it is responsible to all four classes.

Click on the PDF image above to view the Student Council's constitution. In it, you will find that we intend to “promote a forum for student participation in the operation of Mt. Sinai High School.” Throughout this year and into the future, we will do whatever we can to get YOU more involved in what goes on in this school. This website is just the first step in this process.

Please give The Constitution a look over so that you may better understand what we in the Student Council strive to do for you.
